System Requirements for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Revealed After months of rumors and speculation, Bethesda and Virtuos Studio have officially unveiled and released The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Now available for $49.99, the game can be experienced on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Alongside the launch, Bethesda has also shared the official PC system requirements, and they’re surprisingly demanding. Powered by Unreal Engine 5 This remastered version of Oblivion has been completely rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, offering significant graphical upgrades, reworked combat mechanics, and newly recorded dialogues. However, it still retains the charm of the original, including its quirky dialogues, beloved mini-games, and all downloadable content—Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine expansions are included. Minimum System Requirements To run the game at the lowest settings, you'll need: OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7-6800K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X RAM: 16 GB GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5700 DirectX: Version 12 Storage: 125 GB available space Recommended System Requirements For a smoother, higher-quality experience, Bethesda recommends: OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X RAM: 32 GB GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800XT DirectX: Version 12 Storage: 125 GB available space While the system specs might be steep for a remaster, it makes sense given the next-gen graphics, enhanced lighting, and Unreal Engine 5 capabilities. PC gamers hoping to run the game at ultra settings with smooth performance may want to consider an upgrade if they're not already equipped with modern hardware.
