Capcom has officially unveiled the Year 3 Character Pass lineup for Street Fighter 6 during the Summer Game Fest 2025. This new wave of fighters includes returning legends and a long-awaited surprise, all set to join the roster between summer 2025 and spring 2026.
Here’s a breakdown of the newly announced fighters:
Sagat – Summer 2025
The legendary Muay Thai powerhouse and original final boss of the Street Fighter series makes his long-anticipated return. With his towering presence, devastating Tiger Knee and Tiger Uppercut, Sagat brings raw power and range to the battlefield, reasserting his dominance as a seasoned warrior.
C. Viper – Fall 2025
- Viper is back with her sleek, high-tech combat gear and electrifying moveset. Last seen in Street Fighter IV, she utilizes a blend of gadgets, aerial mobility, and flame-based attacks, making her one of the most unpredictable and stylish characters in the game.
Alex – Winter 2025
The fan-favorite grappler from Street Fighter III and V returns, bringing heavy throws, explosive slams, and an aggressive wrestling style to the ring. With his iconic Power Bomb and Flash Chop, Alex is a perfect pick for players who love close-quarters domination.
Ingrid – Spring 2026
A mystical and rare addition to the franchise, Ingrid originally appeared in Capcom Fighting Evolution. Known for her divine-like energy attacks and graceful moves, she’s one of the most unique characters ever created by Capcom—and is finally entering the world of Street Fighter 6.
More Updates: Classic NES Games and Musical Legends
Alongside this character announcement, Capcom confirmed that the final DLC fighter of Year 2, Elena, has been released. Her launch coincided with the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game, which includes all Year 1 and 2 characters bundled in.
Capcom also introduced a nostalgic twist to Street Fighter 6 by adding four fully playable NES classics to the in-game Game Center:
- Bionic Commando
- Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight
- Mighty Final Fight
- Mega Man 3
As an added treat, legendary composer Yoko Shimomura, best known for her iconic work on Street Fighter II, returns with a brand-new original track titled “Edge of Triumph”—marking her first contribution to the series in over 30 years.
