The mid-season update for Black Ops 6 is packed with exciting new content, including a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) collaboration, two brand-new multiplayer maps, six new weapons, a new Directed mode for The Tomb, new perks, new attachments, and a lot more.
The Season 2 Reloaded update will be available for all players across all platforms starting February 21.

Grind Ooze Map Returns — TMNT Style

Ninja Turtles Event in Black Ops 6

One of the highlights of the TMNT event is the return of the Grind Ooze map. Originally a fan-favorite from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, this medium-sized 6v6 multiplayer map is making a comeback with a fresh TMNT makeover for Black Ops 6.

Players will battle it out in indoor sections around skate shops and open areas covered with TMNT-themed stickers, posters, and graffiti. Whether you prefer close-quarters combat or long-range shooting, Grind Ooze offers a perfect blend for all play styles.

    TMNT Moshpit Multiplayer Mode

The Turtles are bringing their unique energy to multiplayer through the new TMNT Moshpit mode. In this event-exclusive playlist, players can jump into Team Deathmatch, Domination, or Hardpoint games — all wrapped in a Ninja Turtles theme.

    Special features of this mode:

    • Regular Scorestreaks work as usual, but playing objectives gives extra points, encouraging teamwork just like the Turtles.

    • Activating the special TMNT Scorestreak unlocks powerful buffs.

    Special Abilities in TMNT Moshpit

When you activate the special TMNT Scorestreak, you gain General Abilities for 30 seconds:

    • Increased health and faster health regeneration

    • Boosted movement speed and shooting range

    • Enemy detection even if they are outside your field of vision

    • Sprinting is unaffected by taking damage

Additionally, you can activate unique Turtle Powers, depending on which turtle you represent:

    • Master Splinter: Disappears in a cloud of smoke and reappears behind enemy lines.

    • Leonardo: Gains Tracker, Ghost, Vigilance, and Cold-Blooded perks for stealth.

    • Donatello: Can see operators, equipment, and field upgrades through walls and hack enemy gadgets.

    • Michelangelo: Drops a pizza box that buffs teammates, doubling their damage output and refilling their ammo and gear.

    • Raphael: Wields unlimited throwing stars (Shurikens).

    Raise Hell Like Raphael

Ninja Turtles Event in Black Ops 6

No test is tougher for ninja skills than a horde of zombies. The TMNT event introduces a thrilling new limited-time zombie mode that challenges players under tight pressure.

    Cowabunga Cranked Zombie Mode

In Cowabunga Cranked, players dive into maps like Terminus, Liberty Falls, Citadel De More, or The Tomb. Once you kill your first zombie, a timer starts ticking.
Fail to kill another zombie before the timer runs out — and you’ll explode!

The deeper you go into the rounds, the faster the timer ticks, making survival tougher with every wave.

Fortunately, power-up pizzas along the way can grant these boosts:

    • Turtle Power: Temporarily boosts your health and gives you a legendary melee weapon.

    • Pizza Box: Maximizes the countdown timer.

    • Slice-O-Pie: Adds extra time to the countdown.

All players can also use a field upgrade called Donny’s Time Stopper that freezes the timer for a full minute.
Bonus: If you play as a Turtle, you take 50% less backstab damage. If you play as Master Splinter, you have a higher chance of earning the Slice-O-Pie bonus after killing enemies.

    New TMNT-Themed Weapons

The update also introduces four powerful melee weapons, each with unique stats and TMNT flair:

    1. Katana

    • One-hit kill weapon with fast attack speed

    • Best for close-quarters combat

    • Heavy attack aimed at the head delivers massive damage

    • Level Cap: 30

    • Mastery Badge: Available

    • Customization: Skins only (no attachments)

    2. Bo Staff

    • One-hit kill but with slower attack speed

    • Great for mid-range melee battles

    • Heavy attack can knock down multiple enemies at once

    • Level Cap: 30

    • Mastery Badge: Available

    • Customization: Skins only

    3. Nunchaku

    • Two-hit kill weapon with extremely fast strikes

    • Perfect for medium-range engagements

    • Special heavy attack that knocks enemies to the ground in two phases

    • Level Cap: 30

    • Mastery Badge: Available

    • Customization: Skins only

    4. Sai

    • One-hit kill, very high attack speed

    • Ideal for very close combat

    • Carry a pair for fast and deadly strikes within inches of your enemies

    • Level Cap: 30

    • Mastery Badge: Available

    • Customization: Skins only

    Final Thoughts

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event brings a fresh burst of action, nostalgia, and chaos to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Whether you’re a fan of the Turtles, love zombie modes, or want new weapons to master, there’s something exciting waiting for every type of player.
