The upcoming major update for The First Berserker: Khazan is set to bring exciting new content, as confirmed by the game’s developer, Neople Studio. In their latest preview, they revealed that they are actively working on new gameplay experiences alongside performance improvements.

Focus on Stability and Player Experience Comes First

Neople emphasized that their primary goal is to make sure players enjoy a smooth and uninterrupted gaming experience. To achieve this, the team is prioritizing the reduction of unexpected bugs, minimizing lag, and upgrading current systems before rolling out new content.

“We want your gameplay to stay stable. That’s why our first step is always fixing any technical issues before adding new features,” the studio shared.

Fresh Content Arriving After the Next Major Update

The developers have confirmed that new in-game content is being developed in parallel with technical fixes. This content will become available right after the next update, giving fans something fresh to explore shortly after the patch goes live.

    Difficulty Settings Become More Flexible

One of the key improvements in the update is the ability for players to switch the difficulty level at any time—from Easy to Normal. This change will allow a more tailored and dynamic gameplay experience, especially for those who want to challenge themselves midway through a mission.

Revamped Main Menu with Better Accessibility

Neople has also made changes to the main menu system. Players will now be able to access the menu freely during missions. From there, they can check their Soulstones, collect Dunjon’s Jars, and claim any Lost Lacrima they’ve earned—without having to exit or interrupt their quest.

Character Upgrade System Gets a Boost

Another highlight of the update is the overhaul of the character progression system. Upgrading a Phantom will now help players reach the next level more quickly. This tweak aims to make the growth journey of different characters more rewarding and less time-consuming.

The developers stated that they’ve rebalanced the upgrade mechanics to support smoother character development, encouraging players to experiment with multiple Phantoms.

Looking Ahead: What Players Can Expect

With both technical improvements and brand-new features on the way, The First Berserker: Khazan is shaping up to deliver a richer and more engaging RPG experience. Whether you’re a long-time fan or a new player, the upcoming update is set to enhance your journey through Khazan’s dark and thrilling world.
