Sucker Punch Productions has officially revealed the release date for its highly anticipated upcoming game, Ghost of Yotei. The game is set to launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025.
New Trailer Showcases Gameplay, World, and Main Character
Along with the release date, the studio has dropped a brand-new trailer. The footage offers fans a glimpse of the game’s atmospheric environments, fast-paced combat, and its mysterious new protagonist. Sucker Punch also revealed the details of the Collector’s Edition, which includes:

- All content from the Deluxe Digital Edition
- Atsu’s Ghost Mask, inspired by Jin’s iconic mask from Ghost of Tsushima
- A special sash representing the six members of the Yōtei Six
- A katana handguard (Tsuba) featuring twin wolves, complete with a display stand
- A coin pouch and a traditional Japanese Zeni Hajiki booklet
- A paper Ginkgo tree model with a small wolf figurine at its base

A New Story Set Centuries After Ghost of Tsushima
Ghost of Yotei is set in the year 1603, more than 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. The story takes place in the rugged region of Ezo—modern-day Hokkaido—at the base of the majestic Mount Yōtei.
Players will step into the role of Atsu, a new protagonist on a thrilling journey filled with fresh enemies, stunning historical landscapes, and a completely original narrative.
