According to a new report from VGC, SEGA and Atlus are gearing up to officially unveil a remake of the beloved JRPG Persona 4. As first reported by MP1ST, the remake is expected to be revealed at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase 2025, which will air on June 7, 2025, at 8:30 PM Iran time. The event will be immediately followed by a special direct presentation for The Outer Worlds 2.
Persona 4 Remake Likely Coming to Multiple Platforms
The source cited by MP1ST claims that the Persona 4 remake is currently in development for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. However, it remains unclear whether a version is also planned for the rumored Nintendo Switch 2.

Two of the original voice actors from the classic game have confirmed that they will not be returning for a new project — further fueling rumors that a full remake is in the works with recast roles and updated performances.
