Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown delivers a high-quality experience of the beloved franchise directly to Android and iOS users. Ubisoft, despite facing ups and downs in recent years, has marked an impressive return with this beautifully crafted title. The mobile version is a well-optimized port of the main game and offers a platformer-meets-Metroidvania experience that stands out in the mobile gaming world.

    Ubisoft’s Mobile Experience Pays Off

Ubisoft is no stranger to mobile platforms. Having released multiple successful mobile titles over the years, the company continues that streak by adapting Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown for smartphones. This mobile version retains the charm and depth of the original while making it accessible to a wider audience.

Optimized for Mid-Range and High-End Devices

Whether you’re using a high-end smartphone or a mid-range device, this game runs surprisingly well. On more powerful phones, you can enjoy the game in 60 FPS with high graphical settings. On mid-range devices, it still runs at 60 FPS, albeit with slightly reduced visuals—but the difference is minimal and does not affect the overall experience. Simply put, this is one of the best mobile ports we’ve seen in years.

    Rooted in Persian Mythology

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

One of the most remarkable features of this game is its deep connection to Iranian mythology. Unlike previous entries, this version stays faithful to ancient Persian stories, offering players a richer and more authentic experience. From the character designs to the environmental details, every aspect of the game celebrates Persian heritage.

Even better, the mobile version supports Persian voice-over and subtitles, allowing Iranian players to fully immerse themselves in a story that reflects their culture and history.

A Solid Platformer and Metroidvania Hybrid

From a gameplay perspective, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown delivers fluid platforming and engaging combat mechanics. The mix of action, exploration, and puzzle-solving feels satisfying and dynamic.

How Are the Controls on Mobile?

Control schemes on mobile can make or break a platformer. Fortunately, Ubisoft has done an excellent job here. While new players may need a bit of time to adjust, the game includes extensive control customization options. You can:

    • Adjust touch controls

    • Enable auto-aim and auto-block features

    • Connect a gamepad for a more traditional experience

All of these help ensure that players of all skill levels can enjoy the game without frustration.

An Epic Story of Heroism and Resistance

The game’s story begins with an invasion of Iran by the Kushan army. As the tide of war turns against the Persians, the elite Immortal Guard enters the battlefield. You play as Sargon, one of these elite warriors, tasked with stopping the enemy commander.

Sargon begins the game with impressive combat skills, and as you progress, you unlock new powers and abilities, making the gameplay more diverse and exciting over time. The game keeps introducing fresh challenges, ensuring the experience never feels repetitive.

    A Must-Play for Mobile Gamers

If you’re looking for a rich, content-packed mobile game, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is easily one of the top choices available right now. With its:

    • Polished performance

    • Persian-inspired storytelling

    • Responsive controls

    • And stunning visuals

…it stands out as a rare gem on mobile platforms. The game is now available on both the App Store and Google Play, and can be purchased via in-app payments.
