According to a recent leak by X0X_LEAK on Twitter, the remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will weigh in at around 120GB on Steam.

This information comes on the heels of long-running rumors about a potential remake of the beloved RPG. Just last week, a set of leaked screenshots surfaced online—first appearing on Reddit—showing a side-by-side comparison of the original game and the remastered version, which clearly highlights significant graphical improvements.

Interestingly, these images appear to have been directly sourced from the official website of the development studio Virtuos.

Multi-Platform Release and Game Pass Possibility

Oblivion Remaster Will Reportedly Be 120GB in Size!

Based on current leaks, Oblivion Remastered is expected to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There’s also speculation that the game may become available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, though this has yet to be confirmed.

A Classic Returns for Its 20th Anniversary

Originally released on March 20, 2006 for PC and Xbox 360, Oblivion quickly became one of the most beloved entries in The Elder Scrolls series. Now, nearly 20 years later, this remastered edition—reportedly rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5—promises a modernized experience with enhanced visuals and improved mechanics for both long-time fans and new players.

    Virtuos Leads Development

The remaster is being developed by Virtuos, a studio known for its work on major gaming projects. In addition to a visual overhaul, the game will feature updated gameplay systems to bring it in line with today’s standards.

A Highly Anticipated Return to Tamriel

Without a doubt, Oblivion Remastered is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of this generation. It offers a chance for veteran players to revisit the legendary realm of Tamriel, while inviting a new generation of gamers to discover the magic of The Elder Scrolls.
